STOMPer motorist saw some tyre shops in Johor using an ingenious method to attract customers. According to the STOMPer, two giant tyres are placed outside their shops and people can look out for them.

The STOMPer said:

"If you go to any city and you are frantically looking for a barber shop, all you need to do is to look out for that ubiquitous barber shop light pole - a rotating light with either two-coloured (white and red) or three-coloured (blue, white and red) stripes.

"Barber shops around the world have this rotating light to tell customers where they are located.

"Whenever I need to change a tyre or wash my car while driving in Johor, all I need to do is to look out for two giant tyres (one horizontal and one vertical) placed outside shops.

"This is an ingenious way to attract customers who have cars that need carwashes or new tyres.

"I hope our tyre shops can adopt methods like this to attract new customers to the area where such shops are located."

Great idea. Kudos to the tyre shops. I can already imagine geylang filled with hanging panties, bras and condoms all around. Next to durian shells, lychee and longan skin...

The inside of the tyre will collect rain water and lead to mosquito breeding.
