Senior citizens from S'pore enjoy Dubai's aircon bus stops
Tweet
Even bus stops are air-conditioned in Dubai, where daytime temperatures are around 40°C in the hottest months, says STOMPer Khin. Pictured here are the STOMPer's senior citizen colleagues who are visiting the Middle Eastern state.
In the STOMPer's email:
"Currently my senior citizen colleagues are visiting Dubai, where the temperature is about 40°C.
"Even the bus stops here are air-conditioned and commuters can travel comfortably.
"The state is constantly being improved, soon it will be the most developed in the region.
"I do not see air-conditioned bus stops in other middle eastern cities that are hotter than Dubai."

does it mean to say, eg: Japan, US, Europe if they don't upgrade their train stations, bus stops they're 3rd world country???
Do you want to see an increase in bus fares? costs will be absorb by passengers if bus stops get upgraded...
If S'pore bus stops got air-con, I think many nuisance people like those "fake" buskers, beggars, blangas and tissue paper aunties will stay there the whole day. They will take it as their home. If this is implemented, income tax will shoot up by nearly 10%.
COULDN'T AGREE MORE FRIEND!! :D
BTW the bulk of the bus stops here have only a sign board with no shelters or seats...sigh...what progress...all a big wayang...
