A STOMPer was driving through a small town in Johor where he saw many mundane yet interesting sights such as this telephone booth that looks more like a montage of advertisements.
Hell driver told STOMP via email today (Aug 12):
"I feel bored when I am driving on the expressway in Johor but it is a pleasure to drive through the small town roads and villages where you catch a glimpse of everyday life.
"When I was driving to Kota Tinggi I saw this fruit stall by the roadside which sells watermelons, mangosteens, chempedaks and pulasans.
"The price here is half of what you will pay if you buy from the lay-by fruit stalls on the highway.
"This phone booth is near a coffee shop.
"As I stopped for a drink I saw this phone booth which was covered with advertisements at the front, back, sides and practically every nook and corner was taken up.
"I saw this bird nest tucked at the corner of the ceiling between two shops.
"This shop has a large banner which kept flapping over the roof when the wind was blowing.
"The boss used two bottles of water to tie the lower corners of the banner, hence keeping it from moving about."
