When Kayxueting says she and her Best Friend Forever Jerlin promise to be each other's bridesmaid.

Said Kayxueting about her BFF:

"'It's not a label, it's a promise'

"God knows how hard it was, to make us come this thus far.

"She was once the well-known girl in school, and I was the quiet girl which no one knew.

"Since she was 1 year older than me, I used to be 'bullied' by her in school.

"She was retained a year in school and became a classmate of mine. When I first saw her, she gave me that really special smile that touched my heart. I never thought we could even be friends.

"Time passed, and we started to bond. In a blink of an eye, I didn't realise she had become someone special in my life.

"Before knowing her, I never knew the real meaning of 'friendship'. I never knew how it was to be able to have someone to count on. I never know how was it to have someone standing beside you, even when the whole world neglected me. I never knew I only needed her hug to make everything right.

"People say, 'Good friends only exist when they share common interests.' But no, we've so many different interests; we’re so different from each other. But we accept each other's interests, we respect each other.

"During this three-year friendship of ours, there have been so much conflict and unhappiness going on between us. We quarrelled, we fought, we scolded each other, and we cursed. We ignored each other for weeks or even months. But often, we’ll find a way to mend it all, because we both know we need each other.

"A key to maintaining a friendship is to never let 'money' ruin it. We’re never calculative over money. My best friend always tells me something, 'With me around, you don’t have to be afraid of starving.'

"It’s true; I’ll never starve with her around. We went through a period, in which we were both penniless. I’ll never forget that period, when we only had each other. Nevertheless, we managed to fill our stomachs, even without money.

"Just because we’ve 2 pair of hands, there is so much we could do. Just because we’ve 2 pairs of hands, we can hug warmer than the others.

"We both made a promise. To be each other’s bridesmaids in the future. Because best friend, never forget, 'Your choice is my choice. Your happiness is my happiness.'

"When I think back to these times and the dreams we left behind, I'll be glad 'cause I was blessed to get to have you in my life."
