Dare to board this bus? There's no telling where it is headed

STOMPer Derek spotted this bus with what appears to be a malfunctioning service number panel.

The STOMPer wrote:

"I was waiting for a bus at Tampines Interchange when I chanced upon this bus with a weird number on display.

"How are you supposed to know which bus service this is?"
