Five STOMPers came across this advertisement in a newspaper. This must be the 'best' Fish 'n Chips deal at $399, one of them remarked.
Said STOMPer Bo Liao in his contribution (Mar 30):
"$399 Fish & Chips deal -- I wonder what the selling point is.
"This must be the 'best' Fish and Chips deal at a wow $399.
"I wonder what the set consists to be priced at nearly $400."
STOMPer RAJ also caught sight of the advertisement and said:
"Saw this advertisement in the 'TODAY' newspaper today.
"Every Friday the Fish 'n Chips at The Manhattan Fish Market costs $399... is this for real or a typo error?"
This advertisement also left STOMPer Krismawati confused:
"This advertisement looks attractive.
"Nice Fish & Chips -- but when you see the pricing, does it look attractive?
"Even I was trying to figure it out -- is it $399 or $3.99?"
STOMPer jason also said:
"$399 Fish 'N Chips. This Friday only! Grab it 'now'."
Adding on, adrian yee said:
"Expensive promotion. $399 for a meal from Manhattan, it's super expensive.
"Somemore it's on 'promotion'!"
