Where's the key? Fire extinguisher behind glass, but no way to get to it

STOMPer Lion was bewildered by this fire extinguisher box with a missing element -- where's the key?

Said the STOMPer:

"I saw this fire extinguisher at Mayflower Shopping Centre at Ang Mo Kio block 159.

"Break glass for key, but where's the key?"

This thing has been puzzling me for a very long time.
why would you break the glass for the god damn key when you can just break the glass for the fire extinguisher?? even if lets say the hole is too small, make it bigger!! by the time the fire gets to you, would you actually care to get to key and hustle to open the lock?? JESUS CHRIST!!!

who in the right mind would attempt to break THAT GLASS to get the keys? Very good chance to be cut by that glass ya know? Stupid idea to safeguard a key which should be meant for fast access.

you mean that you do not know such a thing known as a "tool" ? a "tool" can be anything instead of your hand/finger/tongue/whatever . you can use your pencil-case , your gameboy , your keys (yeah , i kid you not) , your ball-point pen . The list is endless provided they are within reach :) . The smiley is to make you understand better , here's another one --> :) .

@onejeans
Even if there weren't any glass protection, there's a high possibility that the key will disappear.
