Although STOMPer Squinted eye's friend, who lives in a house numbered 1B, claims to receive wrongly delivered mail regularly, survey shows that postal service in that area is satisfactory, says SingPost.
In addition to quality checks on its services to that area, SingPost has contacted the STOMPer.
In a reply, SingPost says:
"We refer to the feedback by STOMPer Squinted eye on our mail service (16 Feb 2010, STOMP). We have been in touch with STOMPer Squinted eye to help us with our investigations.
"We wish to highlight that each landed property has a unique postal code, and our mail processing system sorts standard sized mail items based on the postal code accurately.
"We are not able to establish the cause of any misdelivery.
"We wish to share that based on a recent survey conducted for the area, the delivery performance was satisfactory. Our postal staff are closely monitored by our inspectors during their daily field inspections.
"Nonetheless, we have reminded postmen to be more mindful when delivering mail and we will continue to monitor the mail delivery performance of the area closely.
"We have assured STOMPer Squinted eye that SingPost places great emphasis on providing a high quality mail service.
"We thank STOMPer Squinted eye for his feedback. For any feedback on our mail delivery services, members of the public can call their area’s delivery base via the telephone number indicated on the letterbox or our hotline 1605."
Some without the floor nos, some without blk nos,All this from my oversea mails order,What I found out from Singpost was they will usually try to match with other mails /the postal code/ opened up the package to see if there is additional info.
The world is how you view them, with negative view, nothing will ever please you.
