Vegetable food vs vegetarian food: Which would you choose?
These two food stalls at a coffee shop in Bukit Batok had STOMPer Omnivore scratching his head in confusion.
Here's what he wrote in an email today (Sep 29):
"I visited a coffee shop at Block 2023 at Bukit Batok Industrial Park A and came across two food stalls with two different signboards.
"One reads 'VEGETARIAN FOOD' and the other 'VEGETABLE FOOD'.
"Do they mean the same food is sold at these two stalls?"

Most of these storeowners are mandarin speaking. The direct translation may not be correct, but it doesn't take a genius to know that they must've meant VEGETARIAN food instead. Dont act so smart.

Well, both of them say 素食,so I assume both stalls sell vegetarian food. However, there are many different vegetarian dishes.
