"I have always been fascinated with wall-papers as they can provide texture and designs to a wall that pictures can't replicate.
"I went through a lot of designs and finally chose a purple floral wallpaper to 'greet' me once, I open my front door.
"I love strong colours and have envisaged a bright and chirpy home, that provides comfort and warmth, than can dispel any rough day at work or bad mood.
"Hence the choice of bright orange and yellow to contrast purple to add brightness to the living room.
"As you can see that the living room isn't very big, hence it was important to organize the furniture so that it doesn't look cramp, but still provides a cosy modern home feel.
"The idea is to get creative. My couch is really comfortable and is a steal at $799, and the table isn't a dining table. But it is an office - glass top table - which I simply cover it up with a magenta floral table cloth (so it blends with my wallpaper and doesn't disrupt the colour scheme).
"I chose this table as I wanted one that could host eight person as I host friends over occasionally for gatherings."
