Clever storage space in the middle of living room for this five-room Holland flat

No one would expect to find a shoe cabinet as part of their living room decor. Yet, right smack in the middle the Chew's living area, is a storage space for their shoes.

A husband, father, and an IT Analyst, Anthony explains the concept behind his modern and contemporary family home:

"Our flat is only 117sqm and the main access to our flat is rather small.

"Thus, we do not want to clutter that area with shoes or a shoe cabinet.

"The storage space in the middle of our living room is not meant for only shoes. We also keep books and other stuff in there.

"On top of that, the mirrored door creates a spacious illusion to our black and white decor."
