No stopping him: Reckless driver speeds on even when light is red

STOMPer Akatsuki avoided a near-collision with a car when it's driver beat a red light.

Says the STOMPer:

"Nothing stops a Honda, not even red light!

"I was waiting to make a turn at a cross junction along Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 to pick up my child at school.

"The traffic light turned amber and a red cab managed to clear it in time before the light turned red.

"When the traffic light turned red, a fellow road user driving a Honda Stream SJS5675K beat the red light!

"Fortunately, I sensed his speed and that he did not want to slow down, thus averting a collision if I were to make the turn.

"Such reckless drivers on the road endanger pedestrians and other drivers.

"Hope they will be dealt with by the Traffic Police."

Nothing new. Please go back to driving school which taught you that before right turn, check traffic clear, blind spot before proceeding.
