So desperate to attend air show, they park in front of bus stop
STOMPer Natish noticed that some people were so desperate to finding parking lots at the RSAF Open House that they parked in front of a bus stop outside Paya Lebar Air Base.
The STOMPer said:
"This was taken at the bus stop outside the RSAF Open House. An LTA officer was coming to fine them.
"People are so desperate to find parking."

Should enforced fine at such places, sure can collect a lot of money, then use that to give road tax rebate to whoever never get traffic fined for the preceding year.
Like rewarding good drivers.
Guys, vandalising the car / puncturing the tyre won't work on these parking goondos.... they can still change the tyre and carry on driving even with scratches all over the car... Wheel clamping the car make it impossible for them to drive at all, without calling the workshop for help. And it'll cost alot and alot of paperwork to get the wheel clamp off, cause they want you to verify if you're the owner of the car as well. And if you park in private carpark in shopping mall, they'll need to seek permission from the shopping mall landlord for the car workshop people to come. So if you hate these parking goondus that much and wanna make your point across, keep a few wheel clamps in your car boot.... for the utimate statement.
you will see tons of car parking near/in the bus stop within the bus lane during bus lane operating hours without getting fines every certain time and certain day.
It's really apparant (with rampant "creative" parkings these days), that parking as such is now a norm, and acceptable. Just as parking in the day on a road with a 1) while centre line, 2) yellow (single or double) side lines, 3) zig-zag broken side lines. Honestly, no one cares.
On the flip-side, I've seen poster put up telling people not to reserve spaces along public roads with their TRASH BINS, and what you see? Not far away you see this very thing being a common practice. Everywhere.
The idea here, is "WHO CARES?" when nothing is done to them, it's regarded as acceptable. What in a law when there's no enforcement? Just like squatting on a piece of land long enough, it's yours.
So, folks, if you can't beat them, join them! You are not alone!
