Chinese New Year market so cramped: Why are cars still driven in?
The Chinese New Year market in Chinatown is packed with shoppers, yet why are cars driven in to the already cramped roads, questions STOMPer Tony.
The STOMPer says:
"Why are cars still driven in to the roads of the already cramped CNY market?
"I'm sure the drivers know that the next 3 weeks, the roads will be filled with shoppers.
"They are troubling themselves as well as others.
"What happens if an accident occurs and they knock down a passer-by?
"Sad CNY to them and the victims right?"

The Authorities could always close the road if they want to. Since it is not closed, vehicles are allowed on the road. Why blame the motorist who have the RIGHT to be there in the first place?
For this case, if the road is still open to traffic, vehicles have the right to enter. If accident happened, just claim and report as road accident. If road is closed, others will complain too...how to unload/load goods?
LL still vote for them in election...whose faults ?
