STOMPer WCY was worried for his life when a Secom driver drove dangerously and pushed him out of his lane.
In an email to STOMP today (Feb 12), the STOMPer says:
“On Feb 12 at about 10.45am, I was driving along Commonwealth Ave West towards Jurong.
“My car was along Clementi Ave 3 when I noticed in my rear view mirror, a van belonging to Secom coming towards my car at high speed (about 70km/h).
“Overtaking from the right, the Secom driver changed lane in the yellow box while driving across the junction. Also, he did it by driving very closely alongside me, preventing me from keeping within my own lane.
“I was pushed out of my lane and had drive into the lane on my left. The Secom driver continued to drive into my lane even after crossing the junction.
“It was after I honked for about 4 to 5 seconds that he moved away into the right most lane.
“The danger the Secom driver has put myself and my passenger in, is unnecessary.
“I hope that Secom can counsel the driver of the van before he causes an accident or someone’s death.”
