Mercedes cab travels along ECP -- on cycling track

STOMPer Muhammad Rafiq was shocked to see this Mercedes cab driving along the bicycle track at East Coast Park.

In an email to STOMP yesterday, he exclaimed:

"This cab was driving along ECP near the cable ski park on the cycling track.

"Is it rent a bicycle or rent a cab? So dangerous!"

Taxi driver must be trying to re-live the days when he used to ride a trishaw.
It is strange that even with photographic evidence, TP seems reluctant or unable to issue summons for these idiots.

The Taxi company will say ,"thank you for notifying us about the merc taxi on the bicycle track. The driver has been counselled....blah blah blah.....same old story as if they have a "copy and paste" sentence of this kind. BTW, what is the authorities going to do about this offence, apart from counselling?
