The officer, who seen parking his bike in a car lot at Cheong Chin Nam Road, had ensured that there were plenty of lots available for drivers beforehand, says Certis CISCO.
The security company's response comes after STOMPer Maxim saw the motorbike parked in the car lot with its engine running while the officer issued summons to carpark rule offenders.
The engine was left running so that the officer could vacate the parking lot quickly should any motorist require it, says CISCO.
In a statement released, Certis CISCO Security says:
"We refer to the post by STOMPer Maxim on 20 Nov, 'Parking warden issues summons to offender but parks illegally himself'.
"We view his feedback seriously and have investigated into the matter.
"On 20 Nov, our Enforcement Officer was carrying out his duties at a carpark along Cheong Chin Nam Road. As the nearest motorcycle lot was at Chun Tin Rd, some 200 metres away, he decided to park in that carpark lot after making sure that there were other lots available for other motorists and that no motorist was waiting for a lot.
"To facilitate a quick removal of his vehicle should any motorist require the lot, he left his engine running.
"He did not park his bike beside on the right of the car (in the photo) as it would have caused obstruction to oncoming traffic in that one way street.
"All CERTIS CISCO employees from technicians to traffic wardens are expected to abide by parking rules and regulations and traffic laws.
"We do not condone any misconduct that runs counter to these laws.
"However, in the course of their work, our enforcement officers and traffic wardens may be required to stop illegally or in this instance, park illegally when they need to serve a notice to an offender or carry out their duties.
"We thank STOMPer Maxim for bringing this matter to our attention."
