Reckless driver stops car on pedestrian crossing
Tweet
STOMPer Unknown was annoyed to see this car stopping on the pedestrian crossing at a red light. The STOMPer feels this means the driver does not care about road safety.
She says:
"Either this driver is speeding or simply does not bother to stop behind the the traffic light lines.
"This is causing congestion and disturbance to road users in both ways. It is so dangerous too!
"Also, all these pictures and videos sent to STOMP are all good hard evidence against these drivers.
"With more summons, I believe drivers will learn their lessons."

So now we are gauging by the boundaries defined by the pedestrian crossing lines? This driver obviously made an effort to stop despite his "momentum." I would much prefer him to do so then to beat the lights. SO, what's the qualm?

Well, at least he stopped. Better if he had shot a red light and or could not stop in time. Some drivers take the trouble to gostan a bit but that can also be dangerous.
