Taxi changes lanes abruptly, nearly causing crash

The reckless driver of this taxi nearly caused a crash but cutting across two lanes without signalling, says STOMPer James.

James was shocked when the taxi suddenly came into his lane and had to hit his brakes hard in order to avoid an accident.

In an email, STOMPer James:

"I was driving down Sengkang East road this evening when this white taxi (SHB6678A) sped up and cut recklessly into my lane without signalling.

"I was forced to brake to avoid hitting it.

"Attached is the video taken with my in-car dashboard camera for your viewing."

Just because you don't want to give way and your car is not powerful enough to closed up the gap to prevent the taxi from cutting in.
There are many driver like that on the road, when they see other cars signal, instead of giving way, they drive closer, get ready their phone or camera to snap picture.

Think that the taxi driver did signal to you but maybe you just not satisfy the taxi driver is faster than you to cut your lane!
And why you are filming as you are driving?
Aren't you also a kind of reskless driver?

"I was forced to brake to avoid hitting it"
Otherwise, what is the brake for?
