STOMPer Jeremy was turning right at West Coast Highway when a truck travelling from the opposite direction nearly hit the back of his car, where his wife and daughter were seated, because it had beat the red light.
Said the STOMPer:
"Was turning right at the junction of West Coast Highway and West Coast Link (near West Coast McDonalds) when this truck didn't stop and nearly hit the back of my car.
"Could have killed my wife and daughter who were seated at the back.
"The truck even horned when I was making the turning!
"I stepped on the accelerator when I sensed that the truck was not going to stop.
"And indeed, it managed to avoid colliding into my car and beat the red light.
"This happened tonight at around 8.40pm.
"I have seen many such speeding trucks along West Coast Highway."
