Driver parks his van right smack on pedestrian crossing at Jln Sultan Rd
STOMPer huiying was on her way to dinner when she saw a van parked on the traffic light crossing at Jalan Sultan Road. This inconvenienced both pedestrians and drivers.
The STOMPer writes:
"On 10 Jun, 2012 while on my way to have dinner, I saw this van parked on a traffic light crossing at Jalan Sultan Road.
"The van is parked directly in front of a traffic light crossing, blocking pedestrians' way.
"Even if the driver is leaving his vehicle for a while, he/she should park the van further down the road or in a proper allocated lot.
"By parking on the pedestrian crossing, it causes inconvenience to both pedestrians and vehicles that are turning into this road."

Please take note that lta@lta.gov.sg cannot upload photo attachment. It is a very lousy email system despite feedback to the agency.

The vehicle broke down..the driver has no choice but to leave it there..he tried to turn on the hazard light but to no avail and has gone off to seek help. There is a lady in the vehicle who will have explained the situation if Stomper has approached her instead of just taking pic SNEAKILY!

pedestrians have right of way, so just walk straight into it and roundhouse kick it.
