Guy on electric bike with no lights travels at 50km/h and weaves in and out of traffic

STOMPer Fatfoodie feels that cyclists should not be reckless on the road. The STOMPer encountered a man on an electric bicycle who was weaving in and out of traffic at 50km per hour.

Said the STOMPer:

"My family and I were driving along when we saw this guy on an electric motorised bicycle riding at speeds of close to 50km/h.

"Although this guy was wearing a helmet, his bike did not have any front or rear lights and was weaving in and out of moving traffic, so my wife took a picture of this biker.

"I feel that such bikers should be banned and summoned for their reckless riding."

Stopping them does not earn the government money.
Letting them does not cost the government money.

I wrote to LTA some 2 months ago. Basically their reply was, to cut short the whole story, "it is ok". I even told them that our Town Council people are zooming around the estate with such vehicles! These are so, so, so dangerous!!
We are going to be like China, No people die no action taken, and I am seeing that cases like the Bugis accidents will be happening very near our estates soon!Sad case!!

Singapore law nowadays are so lax. Motorbike without licence jail. Motorcycle without licence warning. Motorbike no helmet jail. Motorcycle without helmet warning. This so call motorised bicycle had been on the road at least five years but no law apply or punishable. Why why. Is it when accident happen then you set the laws.
