STOMPer Weiliang spotted a reckless cabby who not only drove on both lanes but also stopped abruptly at a junction in the Tanjong Katong area. He feels the cabby's actions cause danger to other drivers.
He said:
"I saw this reckless taxi driver along Amber Gardens this Tuesday.
"After emerging from Kings Mansion, he turned carelessly into Amber Gardens and entered the oncoming lane.
"He drove in both lanes all the way to the junction.
"When he reached the junction, he almost turned into the exit lane from Tanjong Katong Road South, then veered back into the proper lane.
"As Amber Gardens is a narrow road, oncoming vehicles from the major road would have no room to avoid his taxi and they might have collided with it.
"Just after he entered Tanjong Katong Road South, he stepped on the brakes to take a rest.
"This could cause danger to other drivers who must cross two lanes so as to enter the major road.
"It is also an offence to stop your vehicle within 9 metres of a junction."
