Driver refuses to stop at zebra crossing and nearly hits pedestrian

STOMPer Wilson caught this driver not giving way to a pedestrian on a zebra crossing. According to the STOMPer, if the pedestrian had walked any faster, he would have been hit by the car.

The STOMPer wrote:

"This morning, I witnessed an incident of a car not stopping for a pedestrian.

"It was captured by my in-car camera.

'If the pedestrian had walked any faster, he would have been knocked down by the car.

"It seems that many drivers are day-dreaming when they drive.

"Hence, it is important for pedestrians to be extra careful when crossing the road, even when you have the right of way."

Kickdhsl the chao ah qua. Don't hide behind your mother's ccb and scold people. One day you will get knocked down by another ah qua driver at the zebra crossing. Just watch out.

nothing wrong with the driver and the pedestrian, stomper don over react. it is all about timing, look carefully the van went cross the Zebra before the red pedestrian at this time, the van was blocking the view of both the red T-shirt man and that Mazda driver which mean blind spot. i agreed with kickdhsl quote "both pedestrain & driver duty to jugde their way when come to zebra crossing.. " just blame our country too small to house so many things.

i never encourage dangerous or reckless driving.. i mean is both pedestrain & driver duty to jugde their way when come to zebra crossing..

when pedestrian think zebra cross is their rights & dash across or force their way is NOT CORRECT..

in other hand driver can have the rights of way too, provide didnt endanger or cause hassle.. like snatch in abruptly causing pedestrain have to stop or slow down when crossing & only such idiotic driver need to teach a lesson

It's an offense not to give way to pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. TP/LTA please take action before this mazda guy gets too bold and continue breaking the law. Rotan him.
