Unsecured machinery on back of lorry may topple and cause accident
STOMPer 3G-Stringer was concerned to see this piece of machinery that had been placed unsecured at the back of a lorry. In addition, a long belt was flapping at the side of the vehicle.
Wrote the STOMPer:
"Is it safe? I was coming into TPE from Seletar West Camp off Jalan Kayu when I saw that this generator set was not secured securely on the deck of the lorry.
"This was dangerous because of two reasons:
- Machinery not secured and may move when the lorry is maneuvering.
- The belt, marked by the red border, is entangled at the side of the lorry and may cause an accident
"I Hope that everyone plays their part in ensuring the safety of all road users.
"Lastly, I hope that the enforcement team will look into this matter."
