cats are prowlers. They'll climb anywhere and into the homes of others.I know this cos my neighbours cats always enters my home tru the kitchen window and to take it I live on the 9th floor. And if one feels comfortable or safe at a place,it'll soon attract more cats.@nicollette-what u like might not be wat others like or vise versa.U don live in a HDB block all by urself. There are others too which might not share ur sentiments

Yahwen12 what's that going to do with cats not allowed in HDB. If u abandon a dog , they will return to the spot just like cats. Pets do it because that have feelings like us, and they miss their family.

If the cat has a eat-tip (a little bit is snipped off from the tip of one ear, usually the left), do look for the caregiver and ask her to bring the cat back downstairs. Otherwise, it just appears to be somebody's pet cat whom they have not been responsible for. Or like you said, someone's lost pet.
