STOMPer AdviseMeNot says that the last thing Jack Neo should be doing now is to give advice to the public on how to deal with infidelity. He should spend his time making amends for his mistakes instead, the STOMPer says.
The STOMPer said this after he read the article on Sunday Times today (Mar 14), about how Jack is trying to return to his normal life after his highly-publicised affair with 22-year-old model Wendy Chong.
At the end of the article, Jack Neo gave this advice to those who strayed from their marriages for the first time, and when love still exists between the strayer and his or her spouse:
"Find a chance to confess to your spouse. And for the spouse, give him or her a chance to turn back."
STOMPer AdviseMeNot feels it is condescending of Jack Neo to tell that to the public, after what he has done.
"Jack Neo trying to give us advice on infidelity? That's the funniest thing he has ever done, even for an accomplished comedian like himself.
"It's hypocritical and condescending of Jack Neo to think that we need advice from him right now.
"I think he needs to keep that advice for himself.
"What he should do now is to make amends for what he has done to his wife, family and fans who have supported him.
"We don't need him to play the self-sacrificing martyr and tell us how to correct ourselves. Your advice means zero, Mr Neo!
"And to suggest that a spouse should forgive a first-time strayer. What kind of stupid advice is that?
"Just because his wife forgives him, it doesn't give him the right to think that every spouse should do the same.
"Infidelity is a serious issue and whether or not a spouse will forgive the straying partner, is not for Mr Jack Neo to decide or even suggest.
"In fact, I have a piece of advice of my own to give to Jack Neo, because I think he's the one who is in need of advice.
"He should start putting his words into action and face the music like a man. And I don't know why he brought his wife to the press conference with him, knowing that it would've been tough for her to face the public.
"The public needed him to address the issue, not his wife. Being her husband, he should have protected her from the humiliation of having to face the public.
"And to be frank, nothing was really said in the press conference. Even his apology seemed insincere to me. What he should do is to hold another press conference, just himself this time, and face the public like a gentleman."

There are so many similiar cases out there happening every day that you might not know. Are you going to curse and swear at them too? Or are you piss off coz you spend alot money to watch his movies and you arent happy or because ya gf is a fan of Jack Neo.
Come on people, get a life. Dont tell me you never ever thought of cheating. Perhaps we never do it but it take guts to cheat and take even more guts to own up. Instead of asking him to seek God and clean his sin, why not we learn from his mistake instead of cursing and swearing.
