Staff reminded to check items' pricing before putting them out for sale: NTUC Fairprice

NTUC Fairprice supermarket has reminded its staff to check the pricing of all items before they are put on sale. It also assures customers that every precaution is taken to reflect the accurate pricing on their products.

This response comes in the light of a STOMPer's feedback on a box of grapes, at an outlet in Tanjong Pagar Plaza, that had an inaccurate price label on it.

A spokesperson for NTUC Fairprice wrote:

"FairPrice thanks STOMPer Marvin for this alert on a wrong price label at our store. We have since reminded our staff to double check pricing of all items before they are put up for sale.

"We assure our customers that we take every precaution to reflect accurate pricing for all our products and are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

"Customers can also reach us directly via our customer relations hotline at 6552 2722 or through email at general.feedback@fairprice.com.sg should they have any enquiries or feedback to share with us.

"Thank you."

Anyway, whatever, since it was offered and should a customer accept the goods (in the condition, as packed) at the offered price, the price indicated ought to be honoured.
