Residents find creative use for pull-up bar: To dry laundry

STOMPer Eugene noticed that some residents at Ang Mo Kio had used the pull-up bars at the exercise corner to dry their laundry.

"On my way to buy my lunch today, I saw two women pushing a movable hanger stand, with a few tops, to the back of a HDB Block in Ang Mo Kio.

"When I came back from buying my lunch, approximately ten minutes time, I saw the hanger stand being left unattended.

"And on addition to the few pieces of tops, I saw about ten pieces of clothes being hung up on the pull-up bars at the exercise corner.

"I was totally outraged!

"What I can conclude is that they are using the public area to dry their clothes, since the weather today is pretty sunny.

"What came to my mind is on whether drying of clothes at the void decks and hanging them on public exercise equipments allowed in Singapore?

"What will happen if someone from the higher levels smokes and throws the cigarette buds down and the clothing gets lighted up?

"Who will be responsible?

"Are users able to make use of the pull up bar when it is being occupied by the clothing for drying up?

"Is the bamboo pole holders installed at the kitchen of HDB flats not enough for residents to dry their clothes?"

With so many cases, TC should put up a notice such as..
"No hanging of laundry in public area or TC shall have the right to dispose items.."
This people really make the environment ugly! Hate them!!
