A resident at Woodlands left personal belongings in the common area outside his flat, and it seems the resident's pets were also running around the grass patch. The items have since been removed, and the resident advised to relocate his pets, says the town council.
Said the Sembawang-Nee Soon Town Council spokesperson in an email (Feb 2):
"We refer to the posting 'Common area outside HDB flat used to dry clothes and dump rubbish' dated 31 Jan 2012.
"We have removed the unwanted articles left at the open space in front of Block 324 #01-169 on 31/01/2012 at 4.00pm.
"We have also advised the resident of unit #01-169 to tidy up the surroundings in front of his unit and also to re-locate the 2 pet guinea pigs inside his unit.
"We will monitor the situation further to improve the surrounding of this unit."
