Common area outside HDB flat used to dry clothes and dump rubbish
STOMPer Sharon was at Block 324 in Woodlands when she noticed that the common area outside this HDB flat was being used to dry laundry, and it was also strewn with rubbish.
Said the STOMPer:
"I spotted this place at Woodlands Block 324.
"Someone has left their own personal belongings in that area.
"Clothes, boxes and rubbish fill that common area.
"Rats are common there.
"There are other pets believed to be own by the same person running around the glass patch.
"A guinea pig, a rabbit and a porcupine have been spotted there.
"Its quite horrible.
"I hope AVA and HDB step in and get this person to clean up this mess."

i am glad you brought this up. Yes i agree with you. my neighbour has plants that are growing out of control downstairs.she has potted plants upstairs in the common area too. A huge clothes rack and a trolley with a huge flower pot which she keeps junk. . there is also a discarded cupboard outside with more junk. I just wonder why the town councils and hdb allow this? they have this policy: you dont complain we dont act....!

More and more people are using the public area to do what they want without any consideration to the other neighbours. Yet the government refuses to enact anti-social laws to deal with such hooligans. So the partying, gambling, littering continue. When will the government starts to act, instead of passing the onus to the poor residents?

HDB should impose fine to deter all these inconsiderate HDB dwellers from putting all kinds of rubbish along the common corridor because from what I see, I believe that these kind of people won't adhere to HDB rules.
