Bishan taxi stand vandalised for the fourth time

STOMPer Rachel sent in these images of a taxi stand in Bishan that has been vandalised for the fourth time. Apparently, someone who is unhappy with the hike in taxi fares has repeatedly defaced an information board located in that taxi stand.

This is the second incident where the board has been defaced in green ink.

It has also been vandalised in blue ink and red ink on two separate occasions.

The previous incidents were sent in by STOMPers Pepper and Stefanie.

In addition to a fine or jail term, convicted vandals may be subject to caning as well. The court may also impose corporal punishment on juvenile offenders.

To the vandaliser: i strongly encourage you to gather a band of followers, draw some signs, bring some GE posters that are still left around. Optional: Bring a lighter... Take a walk along South Bridge Road...

Such offenders are quick to commit such a rash act. But they are afraid to express their dismay through proper channel other then to resort to an act of vandalism.
