The Sembawang-Nee Soon Town Council have filled up a pothole in Yishun and are also liaising with the Housing Development Board (HDB) with regards to soil erosion in that area.
This response comes after a STOMPer had sent in feedback about the hole which measured 1 metre in depth and width.
A spokesperson for the Town Council wrote:
"I refer to the Stomp posting on "Informed town council about hole through 24-hour hotline, but nothing done" dated 23 January 2012.
"We have barricaded the area and also filled up the hole. Proper signage have been put up to warn the public of the hole and we have also liaised with HDB to assess the underlying issue for the soil erosion.
"We thank Stomper night owl for his valuable feedback. Should the Stomper require further clarifications, he may contact us at 6368 3100."
