It's been over 48 hours but no action taken about pothole

STOMPer Worried Neighbour has noticed that no action has been taken about a hole in the ground at Yishun, despite having called Town Council to report the issue.

Said the STOMPer:

"It has been over 48 hours since STOMPer Night Owl reported to the town council that there was a hole in the ground at Yishun.

"The issue has not been rectified.

"What is the purpose of 24 hour hotline?

"Isn't this an emergency?

"They are lucky that nobody got injured.

"Lighting at that area is not bright enough and the hole is barely visible.

"What is the town council doing?

"I am very disappointed in the town council.

"Please do something!"

If something is deemed as 'emergency action required', the Stomper should have simply find something to cover it up or barricade it with tape or rope. Not long ago, I noticed a cat sitting in the middle of a car park service road and also on another occasion, I saw a bat resting in the middle of the car park service road. A few cars were approaching and I intuitively walked over to gently nudge the animal out of the way and saved their lives. It just take a few seconds to act and save the day without 'making a mountain out of a molehill'.

Quite risky --the hole. Maybe TC is waiting for contractors to come back 2 work. Most of them r not local n probably won't be back till next week.
