Water now pools at common corridor after drain was 'burnt' by neighbour

The drain at the common corridor outside STOMPer Isaac's unit now overflows, ever since it was 'burnt' by a neighbour. The slippery floor is a hazard for the elderly who live there, said the STOMPer.

Wrote STOMPer Isaac in his contribution (Dec 27):

"An inconsiderate neighbour burnt the HDB corridor drainage, choking it.

"Apparently the drain outside my house was melted and now it blocks the water from flowing.

"I have been living in this house for close to 10 years and nothing as such had happened before till my new neighbour moved in.

"If it's raining heavily the water will seep into the common corridor and if the water does not flow out it will create a puddle which will cause people to slip easily.

"On my floor, we have old aunties and old uncles living there and they could slip and fall due to such inconsiderate acts.

"I'm really speechless about this."
