Burnt offerings litter ground, even though designated bin is nearby

STOMPer Kinny noticed a group of people had left burnt offerings strewn all over the ground, even though there was a designated bin just metres away.

Says the STOMPer:

"I know that most people would burn offerings to respect the dead but I think this is too much.

"There is a designated bin just 10 metres away, but some people burned the offerings on the ground at around 1am.

"I stay on the ground floor and the burning of offerings has affected my sinus.

"It does not smell just like burning paper; it also has a strong plastic smell to it.

"Please use the proper areas for burning offerings and think of your neighbours."

I agree with you about the mess but it's been that way for the longest time. Nothing changes after 50 over years, it use to be alot worst when i was a kid. I understand how you feel especially for ppl with asthma, sinus or respiratory problems. Best for you to ensure you've got adequate ventilations and lots of fans turned on for better ventilation.
