Bad smells can spread diseases? Sign asking owners to wash dogs makes no sense
STOMPer Joping felt that this sign, apparently posted by someone who was bothered by smelly pets, made little sense.
The STOMPer pointed out that the sign was probably posted by someone who had access to the notice board at Jurong West Street 64, because the note was neatly pinned onto the board.
The STOMPer said:
"I came across this notice.
"It must be put up by someone who had access to the notice board, because the note is pinned onto the board and not just slipped in.
"Are smells contagious?
"If your neighbour smells really bad after a hard day at work, does that mean that he or she can spread diseases as well?
"Maybe we'll need to post something that says: please do not take the lift because your odour can spread diseases.
"What a joke!"

Yes, bad smell can mean the existence of some diseases.Eg dogs infested with ticks may look normal but have terrible smell...
