Snake causes early morning commotion at MacPherson

STOMPer Andy12345 saw a crowd gather in the morning and initially he thought there was a quarrel. However, they had spotted a snake.

Wrote the STOMPer (Nov 14):

"Morning snake.

"Saw a crowd from of my window this morning.

"Initially thought it's a quarrel but saw them gathering around a snake instead.

"Picture is not clear as it was taken from the 11th storey from my place at Balam Road.

"The snake can be spotted between the lamp post and a small shrub."

We need to restore and preserve our native wild life, python is good for our environment actually, they've been feeding on rats in the drain to keep our world clean. Please make sure it's not harmed and back to where it belongs.

Must have been a python that crawled out of the drain. Hope it managed to flee to safety eventually.

A snake is an unusual sighting in Singapore. In Malaysia, they just kill it and throw it away.
