'20 years of rain' at Teck Whye as resident puts dripping laundry out to dry daily

Drip, drip, drip goes the laundry of this Teck Whye resident each day -- directly onto the freshly-washed clothes of their neighbours downstairs.

The frustrated resident living in the unit below wrote:

"The residents at block 101 Teck Whye Lane have been plagued by a daily storm for more than 20 years.

"Each morning, at approximately 9am the family at the highest floor has subconsciously (or maybe consciously) hung their wet and dripping laundry out to dry.

"This causes tremendous inconvenience for the twelve families as they have to wait for the dripping to stop before they hang out their own laundry.

"This usually happens at about 11am. And if you thought that's the end of the story, part two of the drizzle starts at 2pm."

Simply, tell HDB about this behaviour.They cannot tolerate this behaviour and ask the person living there do not do this in 10,000 languages.

aiya u want dry yr clothes, go buy/rent the top units instead of the bottom ones to dry yr clothes. i often use the dryer to spin my clothes and let them air for a while. saves up time of hanging

My neighbour is like that too. If they hung out first, I'm totally don't care even if it's dripping heavily. But they hang their dripping clothes and rags even when we hung out our clothes first. They don't care if there were clothes being hung out already. Worst still, their clothes often have dye coming off. The coloured water often stain our clothes. We've told the auntie a few times but she doesn't care. Some people are just inconsiderate.

@stereohearts
There's such thing as Spin Dry or Wringing your laundry the proper way. I dun see any reason why there shud be any 'drip! drip!' issue if the top floor residents does this.
