More shopping trolley idiots: Shoppers chain them together to get coins back

STOMPer Sky spotted these three trolleys chained together near Bishan MRT station.

The STOMPer thinks that this is the work of inconsiderate shoppers who use the keys of other trolleys to retrieve their one-dollar coin deposits, without having to physically return the trolleys to the Fairprice supermarket nearby.

The STOMPer said:

"The supermarket provided the public with trolleys to ease the trouble of carrying all the items with our hands.

"It's true that they are earning our money, but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with their trolleys.

"A few shoppers must have connected the trolleys as shown, just so that they could get their deposits back!

"They might damage the trolleys by forcing them together like this.

"This is a very inconsiderate act.

"If you're not willing to push the trolley back to where they belong, then don't take them with you!"

calm down. here in sydney, people actually drag the trolleys home with them and a supermarket crew comes to possible locations that they'll be in to pick them all up early the next morning. great service or what haha.
