Danger averted, thanks to alert resident: Incense bin was right beside gas valve

STOMPer Homelyman alerted the authorities to an incense bin that was placed too close to what appears to be a gas valve.

The STOMPer said:

"After so many days of the seventh month, which is now coming to an end, I realised that an incense bin was placed just inches from a PUB gas valve access point at my block in Tampines.

"This is a dangerous combination indeed!

"I called the Essential Maintenance Service Unit (EMSU) to move the bin to a safer spot between my block and the adjacent block.

"Thank you, EMSU! You saved the day!"

When there is explosion or fire caused by this, we will know... Some even burn incense on manhole cover, if there is combustile gas inside the manhole...what will happen?

All I have to said that the authorities should chain the bin at a destinated place. Be it chain 3 bins together or to a bola.
Fine those who burn on floor, litter the place as well move the bin.
