STOMPer achid said a man had mysteriously collapsed after allegedly trying to steal a bicycle from a younger man at Woodlands North Plaza yesterday (Jul 31).
The STOMPer said:
"I was on my way to Woodlands North Plaza when I saw this incident .
"This old man was pulling at a younger man's bicycle.
"I think the old man wanted to steal his bike but its owner, the younger man was right there.
"They exchanged vulgarities and the old man tried to hit the young man with the bicycle chain but couldn't.
"After which, the old man who looked like he was in his 50s, suddenly ran away to a nearby road.
"The funny thing was that he soon ran back and attempted to take the bike again after the owner had chained it.
"Then, he suddenly collapsed face down and begun making weird noises.
"The police and ambulance were called down.
"The old man looked as though he was drunk, not really talking but making weird noises with his tongue stinking out just like a chinese ghost. Scary!
"The ambulance later took him away and I had to write an eye witness report."
