STOMPer Delerium noticed town council workers burning election posters with photos of PAP candidates below his block at Ang Mo Kio. The STOMPer thinks that they should have done a proper disposal instead.

The STOMPer said:

"What do you do with all the party posters after the election? You burn it.

"This is what happened outside my block at Ang Mo Kio Blk 109.

"The town council workers started to burn the PAP posters.

"They just let it burn and then they walked way. It burned for hours and the smell became unbearable. Like burning rubber.

"My sister then decided to call the town council to complain. Finally a town council worker came and put out the fire.

"Why must the town council people burn it outside the block? Why can't they do a proper disposal? Is it an offence to burn a minister photo -- our PM's photo I might add."

This is outrageous! Someone seriously needs to look into controlling air pollution. At the very least, it needs to be done in a non-residential/commercial location.
