Bukit Batok residents turns playground into laundry area

STOMPer Doris is annoyed that some residents have been using the playground at Block 288C Bukit Batok as an area to dry their laundry.

The STOMPer said:

"Can you imagine your playground becoming a laundry area?

"This was seen at the playground at Block 288C, Bukit Batok St. 25. It is located opposite the Church of St Mary.

"It happens at least three times a week in the morning till the afternoon.

"The playground should not be used as laundry area at all. It is meant for residents to bring their children there to play.

"It's so disgraceful to be living in such a neighbourhood."

Ouh. If u Think ur so high class why not stay on private property. They hang it there only during hot weather to dry it out. Plus which parent in the right mind would allow their children to play there under the hot sun. FYI it gets really REALLY hot there.

Disgraceful to be living i this neighbourhood? Then you go live somewhere else then, nobody forced you to stay here mah. I've been living in this neighbourhood for the last 10 yrs and never find it to be disgraceful.
Btw, the aunties hanged their clothes there only when the sun is really hot. Who in the right of mind would allow their kids to play in that kind of heat. Apart frm the occasional usage frm the nearby childcare or kindergarten students, the playground are usually deserted til 4pm and by then, the clothes are gone. And that particular area has the highest resale price. You are the disgraced one stomper.

If you kick and throw the laundry, people will think twice about mis-use of public property.

Goon.. it is ok.. It reminded us of old kampong days..which no longer existed in Singapore..

I agreed that it is too hot.. Nowadays where got kids come out to play!!!! Psp3.. Wii.. Xbox.. All stay indoors

If play outside worry heat stroke..fall down got cuts lah.. Mosquito bites..play ground dirty got germs later HFMD...

You think which one is better?

All these things are simply becsue of weak point of housing construction projects : not providing enough space inside home to get direct sun light instead of bamboo pole hanging system which cannot gurantee to get sun light all time and facing unexpected rain .
