The West Coast Town Council has reminded residents to refrain from blocking corridors and staircases with personal items. They are responding to STOMPer Jasmine's complaint after she saw this stairwell blocked by a wooden plank.

In their statement, the Town Council said:

"West Coast Town Council would like to thank STOMPer, Jasmine, for her feedback.

"The wooden plank at the staircase of Block 266 Boon Lay Drive has been removed on March 15, 2011. We have also put up advisory notices to remind residents to refrain from causing obstruction along the corridors and staircases.

"We would like to take this opportunity to request our residents with maintenance feedback to contact us at the following numbers and email addresses, so that it can be looked into:

"Tel : 1800-776 0271 / 6776 0271 (Clementi Office) or email: wctccl@wctc.org.sg
1800-896 4890 / 6896 4890 (Boon Lay Office) or e-mail: wctcbl@wctc.org.sg."
