STOMPer Alan is fed up with the daily traffic chaos at the junction at Jurong West Central 1 and Jalan Boon Lay. According to the STOMPer, motorists frequently make dangerous U-turns near the junction and end up in a direction opposite to the traffic flow.
In the STOMPer's email:
"I cannot stand the air and noise pollution from the heavy traffic and bottle-neck between Jurong West Central 1 & Jalan Boon Lay!
"Vehicles are often seen making dangerous U-turns andtheir cars end up parking in the opposite direction facing the Shell station next to River Valley high School!
"The traffic police should be doing something about the suituation there during morning peak hours around 7.30 to 8.30am.
"After work in the evenings , you can see motorbikes from Malaysia speeding to rush for the Woodlands Checkpoints. Especially the motorists donning the orange-coloured shirts (probably company uniform).
"The authorities should really do something about the traffic there.
"It has been like that for over 10 years."
