The SPCA said that it was working closely with the owners of a kitten stranded on a roof after STOMPer David said he made many calls to the organisation to help to get it down.
The STOMPer sent in a contribution to STOMP yesterday (Aug 26), saying that the trapped kitten was mewing pitifully in distress every night.
In an email statement to STOMP, an SPCA spokesman wrote:
"The SPCA first received a call regarding a cat stuck on the balcony of a house in Hougang on Friday 20 August.
"Since then, we have visited the house on six separate occasions.
"We ascertained that a kitten, which appeared to be healthy, was running around on the roof of the house.
"The kitten’s mother is able to access her kitten and most likely has been feeding it.
"We are working with the owners of the house to bring the kitten down.
"We would like to thank the STOMPer for his feedback."
