STOMPer David says this trapped kitten mews pitifully in distress every night. He has called SPCA officers to help, but they were denied access to the neighbour's house to free it. Eventually, they too stopped coming.

He told us the story:

"This cat has been on my neighbor's rooftop for almost a month.

"She cries every night. I think she is crying for help, food or water.

"I called the SPCA and the officers first came down last Friday (Aug 20).

"But the owner of the house was not in and the maid did not let the officers in to remove the cat from its location.

"The SPCA then said they would try again on Monday (Aug 23).

"But when Monday came, they told me they would come on Tuesday.

"Tuesday came but there was no sign of the SPCA.

"I have called them and warned them that they better bring a trap down and help the cat today.

"I think it is ridiculous that they take a week to help a trapped animal down from a rooftop.

"The poor thing!"

Both SPCA and the maid are in the wrong, in the first place the maid should have let SPCA in the house because she ain't no superwoman and she knows she needs help. On the other hand, SPCA shouldnt give up going back and trying to rescue the cat. What if an animal is trapped in everyhouse ? Then SPCA will give up ? I really think that SPCA should not give up trying to rescue the house because that group is created for people who have a heart for animal and are willing to help. This shows that they clearly don't care.

The owner needs to have a heart now and arrange with SPCA ASAP. How the hell can you live in a house for ONE WEEK with a poor cat trapped up your roof?

according to post, the stomper blame the SPCA NOT the maid!
SPCA shld turn up again but they don't, beside SPCA which organisation can enter the house? why they just dont care?

It's the bloody maid's fault, don't act as it's SPCA's fault. They have a lot to deal with and animals to care back at the shelter. Poor kitten, can't you, the stomper, contact your neighbor and get him to be home when the SPCA is? Geez..
