Owner charges electric bike for 'free' in void deck
STOMPer lim spotted this electric bike plugged into and charging at the electrical outlet at the void deck of the HDB block. Is this free electricity provided by HDB, the STOMPer asks.
He commented in an email (July 09):
"I was surprised to see this electric bike get a free battery charge at the void deck of the HDB block.
"It seems that HDB do not care to lock the electrical outlet."

5. Answer No. to No.3 , If there is no clear cut guidelines about using HDB Eletical sockets then Yes he is allowed to do that.
He probably paid his taxes and public facilities should be available to him. Whether he abuses it or not is another story.
