Several STOMPers in the east spotted two rainbows lined up together last evening (Jul 8).
STOMPer Niki wonders if this is a lucky sign. She said:
“I count myself lucky this week!
"Saw a halo on Tuesday, and today, I spotted a double rainbow over my condominium in Simei Rise.”
STOMPer Dave found the rainbow "beautiful". He said in an email:
“I saw the double rainbow at around 7pm today, and it was beautiful.
"The arch was so long that I needed three pictures for the whole rainbow. Many other people took out their cell phones to take pictures of it.
"A pity it lasted for only five minutes!”
The double rainbow brought a good end to STOMPer Tian Hua's day.
"For those living in the eastern part of Singapore - if they had looked up into the sky in the evening, they would have seen a beautiful rainbow.
"This double rainbow was visible over many parts of Singapore, according to my friends' Facebook photos and posts.
"What a nice way to end a long and tiring day!"
STOMPer Ishwar also saw the rainbow while driving along Bukit Timah.
He said:
"What a beautiful sight!"
